About this event
The "Habitats" series explores the ways in which creatures lives and perceptions of life are bounded by the limits of their habitats. Working in glass and epoxy resin, which can be invisible but implacably confining, Sadie Hammack creates microcosms like aquariums, terrariums, planetariums, and so on. She hopes that the series will provoke viewers to contemplate the ways in which our own viewpoints are circumscribed by the outer edges of our world.
Showing weekends throughout November - Gallery hours noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Listed by CitySpark: Frederick, MD, gathered by the Frederick events calendar.
