About this event
Have questions about your health? Visit the new Hood Health Hubs at the C. Burr Artz Library! Hood College Nursing students are on-site to offer health education, resources and support. No cost, no judgment, and no appointment required – just drop in. Led by Hood College faculty and nursing students with support from Frederick County Public Libraries and the Frederick County Health Department, Hood Health Hubs provide community-based access points for individuals to share health concerns so barriers can be identified, and prevention and early detection of chronic disease can be prioritized. This partnership between The Department of Nursing in the Hood College School of Behavioral and Health Sciences and the Frederick County Health Department is funded by the Maryland Higher Education Commission's Nurse Support Program II.
