About this event
Join us as we welcome Beth Hansen, Regents Bachelor of Arts (RBA) Coordinator at Shepherd University , for an informative presentation on flexible pathways to completing a bachelor’s degree.
Beth supports adult learners, transfer students, military veterans, and working professionals from admission through graduation. She specializes in degree planning, transfer-credit evaluation, and prior learning assessment—helping students receive academic credit for college-level knowledge gained through professional, military, and life experiences.
With nearly a decade of experience teaching history, social sciences, and humanities, Beth is deeply committed to expanding access to higher education. She also serves as a Dual Enrollment Liaison, helping high school students transition successfully into college-level coursework.
Beth holds a Master of Science in Sport Management from West Virginia University. During this presentation, she will explain Shepherd University’s RBA program, how previous coursework and experience may translate into academic credit, and the opportunities available to adults pursuing career advancement, personal growth, or the completion of a long-held educational goal.
