Hands-On History: Holiday Card Calligraphy and Stamp Making

About this event

Jump back to a time when messages were crafted by hand and words were brought to life through ink and paper! Kids will explore the fascinating history of letter writing, calligraphy, and the printing press, discovering how people shared ideas, stories, and special messages before modern technology. Students will learn the art of beautiful calligraphy, work together to create a printing press, and use hands-on printing techniques inspired by the early printing press to create their own cards. Through creativity, craftsmanship, and a little ink-covered fun, students will experience how people once turned simple words and images into something worth sharing! Ticketed.
