About this event

In his recent work, Tom Ritchie has sought to give his paintings texture, a thickness to the paint that suggests three dimensionality. So, as he describes the process: "I load up my brush with paint from my palette and apply thick strokes of color onto the canvas. The marks left behind by the bristles suggests the brush is unloaded in the process." Many of these works were completed during the last two years around Frederick and other parts of Maryland.

Open Fridays 4-7PM, Saturdays & Sundays from Noon-5PM. Artist's Reception November 8, 1-4PM
