- ➤ The Frederick Planning Commission approved plans today for a 220,000 sqft Carvana warehouse on Gas House Pike, which will serve as a new hub for the car-trading firm. Frederick News-Post
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Maryland Department of Transportation will close Md 28 (Dickerson Road) Bridge over the Monocacy River this weekend for repairs to replace damaged overhead steel, with detour signs directing motorists along Maryland 28 to Maryland 85, MD 80, and MD 109 until the bridge reopens Sunday at 5:00 p.m. WFMD
- ➤ Frederick County awarded $500K to 19 organizations (supporting local food access efforts) to boost food distribution and community programs. Officials said the funds will help improve local food access and support families in need. Frederick News-Post
