  • Verizon credited affected customers $20 yesterday after a service outage lasted from about noon until after 10 p.m. Customers were advised to restart their devices to reconnect, and texts will signal when the credit is available.  Daily Voice
  • A nationwide company founded by eight automakers approved plans for Frederick County's first dedicated electric vehicle charging station in New Market, which will soon serve local drivers.  Frederick News-Post
  • Sheetz has requested to demolish its gas station and convenience store at 1300 E. Patrick St. near the intersection with Monocacy Boulevard and rebuild a larger location— the project aims to upgrade the site to better serve customers.  Frederick News-Post
