ECONOMY NEWS

  • Governor Wes Moore and local leaders broke ground on a $104 million Marriott hotel & conference center along Carroll Creek in downtown Frederick, aiming to boost tourism and create local jobs. The project, supported by state funding, is slated to finish in 2027 and is expected to create about 200 jobs.  WFMD
