Good morning, Frederick.

Michael Galva, 22, is set to graduate soon from Frederick Community College and works full time, thanks to housing provided by Steadfast — a group offering home support for young men in need.

Taco Bar Frederick now serves fresh, steaming Mexican platters at its West Patrick Street location — a new spot in the Golden Mile — for locals seeking authentic taste.

A new Veterans Services Office opened on Wednesday at the Frederick MVA branch to help veterans, active-duty members and families connect with federal, state and local benefits (including counseling, claims assistance and transition support).

The office will serve more than 16,000 local veterans.
