- ➤ Frederick County Sheriff’s Office reported that 67-year-old Rosemarie Lillian Richardson was struck by a white BMW while crossing Crestwood Boulevard near Rosebay Court around 7:40 p.m. on March 13th and later died at a trauma center as investigators gather witness statements. Daily Voice

- ➤ Frederick County police arrested 34-year-old John Hawk—from Florence, South Carolina—after a yearlong probe into the March 2024 attack on a woman along the Towpath Trail, and he now awaits extradition to Maryland facing charges of attempted third-degree sex offense and false imprisonment. WFMD
