ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On March 20 at 7:09 a.m., Frederick firefighters responded to a 30-by-60-foot barn fire on Reichs Ford Road, where they found an unconscious man who was rushed to Frederick Health Hospital with life-threatening injuries and a second person treated for smoke inhalation, bringing the blaze under control in 15 minutes—its cause remains under investigation. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Frederick County Board of Education approved a new policy for overnight and field trips despite objections from critics who argued that other issues should be addressed first. Board members remain divided on the decision and plan to discuss next steps soon. Frederick News-Post

- ➤ Frederick County has launched a new childcare initiative to boost the local workforce and improve care for families.
