- ➤ Sabillasville Environmental School was renewed for five years+added extra seats to enroll more students, and school officials say the change will meet growing local demand for environmental education. Frederick News-Post

- ➤ The Frederick City Council set early voting dates—confirming that Trinity Recreation Center is the voting site for city elections later this year. Frederick News-Post
- ➤ Frederick officials are reviewing changes to city policies to limit the spread of rats from development and other causes — the study is underway to guide future actions. Frederick News-Post
- ➤ Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins, first elected in 2006, said on WFMD’s Mid-Maryland Live (March 28, 2:00 p.m.) that he will run for another term next year.
