- ➤ One person was shot and taken to a local hospital after a Sunday shooting around 5 p.m. in the 100 block of Featherstone Pl. in Frederick+ police said there is no ongoing threat while they continue investigating+. DC News Now
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Frederick City and County officials are working on a Climate and Energy Action Plan that will assess climate impacts like flooding, extreme heat, and drought while asking residents to share their experiences through an online survey and public workshops. The public will have until June to provide input, and a final report will be released in September + the plan builds on previous work by the Climate Emergency Mobilization Workgroup. WFMD
