- ➤ Maryland Public Service Commission has approved 127 petitioners to intervene in the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project—a proposed 67-mile power line that will cross Baltimore, Carroll, and Frederick counties and end at the Doubs substation. Frederick County and other local governments have filed petitions as landowners remain concerned about property rights and potential eminent domain during upcoming public hearings. WFMD
