EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Frederick County Board of Education will review proposals to adopt a new school partnerships policy and update its family engagement guidelines on Wednesday, May 20. The board's decisions may influence how schools work with local groups (details remain pending).  Frederick News-Post

  • Cosyland Official issued a recall on Thursday, May 14 for about 125,200 children's tower stools after eight reports of falls—which included one broken arm—and customers are urged to stop using them until free repair parts + installation instructions are provided.  Daily Voice
