- ➤ The City of Frederick’s Office of Emergency Management and FPD launched CoFAlerts, a new system powered by Everbridge that will send text, email, and push notifications to residents, businesses, and visitors during emergencies. City officials noted that users must re-register for emergency alerts before City Alerts retires after July 1, 2025— ensuring they stay informed of all critical updates. City of Frederick
- ➤ Transit Services of Frederick County is launching a new Transfer Facility on Waverley Drive on June 2 to boost service efficiency for riders. The 10 and 51 Connector routes will change stops and paths—helping passengers take quicker, smoother trips. Frederick County
- ➤ Woodsboro's Town Council voted unanimously on Tuesday to recount 78 votes that were invalidated during the town's May 10 election. The recount will update the final ballot counts. Frederick News-Post
