- ➤ Moises Alberto Figueroa-Bonilla, a 20-year-old Salvadoran and known MS-13 gang member deported four times, was arrested by ICE at his Frederick home on May 27 for illegally reentering the US—authorities said his repeated entries pose a public safety risk. Daily Voice

- ➤ Celebrate Frederick announced its lineup for the free Summer Concert Series (featuring various musical styles) that will begin on June 8 at Baker Park. The series continues a long summer tradition in Frederick that brings music fans together. Frederick News-Post
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Frederick County Health Department warned residents to stay out of the waters near Adamstown where a sewage overflow affected Tuscarora Creek near Adamstown Road and Mountville Road; boating and fishing are allowed but anyone coming into contact with the water should wash off immediately + pet owners are advised to keep their animals away until the water is cleared after June 9.
