- ➤ Frederick County Executive Jessica Fitzwater issued an executive order on Wednesday that froze new applications for data centers and electric substations for six months—county planners will not accept or consider submissions during the freeze. Frederick News-Post
- ➤ Frederick County launched an online dashboard that lets people check progress on the Livable Frederick plan in community, health, economy and the environment. The tool will be updated often+ residents are invited to send feedback by email. Frederick County
- ➤ Frederick County Highway Operations says that a portion of Kimmel Road will be closed from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM starting Monday, June 16 to allow crews to stabilize a bank after a guardrail was damaged during an accident. The closure—lasting about two weeks—includes a detour that will let residents access their driveways from Old Annapolis Road. WFMD
