- ➤ Regal Cinemas has relaunched its $1 Summer Movie Express that will run through August 6 and offers select family movies on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at participating locations — customers can also buy a $5 snack pack with a bundled discount for Dippin’ Dots. - ➤ The Frederick City Department of Housing and Human Services is offering free meals to children up to age 18 under its Summer Food Service Program until August 19th—free lunches will be served Monday through Friday, except on July 4th, at five locations in Frederick and at one site each in Brunswick and Walkersville. - ➤ Five individuals were indicted by the Frederick County Grand Jury on Friday—facing charges from assault to firearms offenses—and their cases will move to Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled. WFMD

- ➤ The Clustered Spires Chorus of Sweet Adelines International (SAI) and the Catoctones Chorus of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) from Frederick earned medals in their annual regional competitions this spring.
