- ➤ Dunkin' is celebrating its fourth annual Iced Coffee Day today—$1 from every iced coffee and cold brew sold at participating locations will be donated to the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation to help children battling hunger and illness. - ➤ Witnesses testified on Tuesday at the Frederick County Court House during the trial of Santos Felipe Reyes-Valle, 40, who is charged with 1st-degree murder and 2nd-degree murder for fatally stabbing Jose Pedro Hernandez — who died after the incident at a Home Depot parking lot off McCain Drive on May 17th, 2023. - ➤ Floor plans for a future Frederick Youth Center were shared with a city council committee, marking the start of the planning and preliminary design phase. City officials will review the details—further design adjustments are expected as the project moves forward. Frederick News-Post
- ➤ Citizens testified Tuesday against an overlay bill that would limit where data centers can be built and preserve five acres of farmland for every one acre allocated—critics say the plan will lower home values and hurt the rural feel of communities.
