Good morning, Frederick.

Charles Carroll of Carrollton, a Frederick County signer of the Declaration of Independence, remains a key figure in local history.

His legacy is recalled with the simultaneous deaths of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson on July 4, 1826, exactly 50 years after they approved the document.

A new book highlights Revolutionary War patriots buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery (known locally as Frederick’s Other City) and shares the stories of preachers, politicians and soldiers who helped shape our history.

Federal prosecutors reported that a Frederick chemotherapy clinic & its owner agreed to pay $1.45 million to resolve allegations of billing Medicare, Medicaid and the VA for chemotherapy drugs that were not provided, with the settlement resolving civil claims without an admission of liability.
