  • Frederick city officials said they were ready in case overdoses like those that hospitalized 27 people in Baltimore last week occur locally—Frederick County and state partners are ensuring first responders have naloxone and training to manage such incidents.  WFMD
  • Maryland may feel the impact of federal job cuts as Comptroller Brooke Lierman warned at a town hall in Germantown—she noted that the state's long-standing link with federal employment is weakening. Private sector growth is rising to fill the gap and help maintain jobs and revenue, she added.  WFMD
