- ➤ Today, Frederick hosts the Indonesian Culinary Festival at Carroll Creek Park where visitors can enjoy Indonesian food and live cultural performances. - ➤ Eric Rhodes, a longtime member of Frederick County Public Schools, visited the new elementary school's construction site on Thursday and expressed his eagerness to build community—he will serve as the school's inaugural principal. - ➤ Frederick County launched a Spanish YouTube channel to share videos on county services, events, and programs with over 11,000 Spanish speakers. - ➤ Frederick County Department of Highway Operations closed Reichs Ford Road at the bridge between addresses 9558 and 9601 to repair flood damage—drivers must follow a signed detour—and the road will remain closed for about three weeks. Frederick County

- ➤ Frederick Keys renewed their affiliation with the Baltimore Orioles yesterday—ending their unaffiliated period since 2020—and will have the affiliated Aberdeen Ironbirds play at Harry Grove Stadium this spring under a deal led by Attain Sports. DC News Now
- ➤ Frederick baseball fans will see affiliated baseball return next season when the Baltimore Orioles affiliate, the Frederick Keys, relocates from Aberdeen as part of a reorganization by Attain Sports.
