- ➤ Protestors gathered at Frederick City Hall and marched on Church and Court streets to support due process and democracy—using car horns, cowbells, and cheers as their rallying call. An amplified voice declared, 'Show me what democracy looks like' during the demonstration. Frederick News-Post
- ➤ WalletHub released its Best States to Live In list on Monday, Aug. 11 that compared all 50 states on 51 measures like housing, education, income and safety—Maryland finished 34th with strong health and income but faced high housing costs.
