- ➤ A medium-size white dog with fluffy fur bit a child riding a bicycle near Market Square along Wormans Mill Road — the County Health Department is seeking the owner to check the dog's health and decide if the child needs rabies treatment. WFMD
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ A celebration for the 50th anniversary of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s canonization will be held at the Seton Shrine from Friday, September 12th through Sunday, September 14th—featuring a Friday concert with musicians from top schools and a Sunday mass led by Archbishop William Lori, along with historic exhibits and other festivities. - ➤ Frederick County officials and community partners held a groundbreaking today at Rose Hill Manor Park and Museums for a new climate-controlled facility that will house more than 26 historic carriages, sleighs, and wagons. The 6,000-square-foot museum will replace the old museum—opened in 1976—and be funded by state and county budgets with construction finishing in August 2026. Frederick County
