- ➤ The Frederick County Board of Education accepted a $63,217 grant—by split vote on Wednesday—to boost its National Board Certification program for teachers. Frederick News-Post

- ➤ Mayor O’Connor invites Frederick residents to watch his upcoming 2025 State of the City Address — he will discuss city plans and priorities as the community looks ahead. City of Frederick
- ➤ Yesterday, the Division of Aging and Independence launched the Move Mobile—using a repurposed ambulance donated by Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services—to bring essential resources and support directly to older adults, caregivers, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. The unit will begin its visits with its first stop on November 2 at Bell Court in Woodsboro to conduct Meals on Wheels assessments. Frederick County
