- ➤ Moo Moo Cows, a popular ice cream shop in Maryland, reopened yesterday after vandals struck it for the third time—one attack occurred between 1:15 a.m. and 1:40 a.m. on Aug. 26—and the repeated damage has deeply affected its owners. Daily Voice

- ➤ The 'Loving John' documentary celebrates the life and legacy of local runner John Godinet—who once led long, rambling runs in the woods before his diagnosis. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Beginning September 8, a portion of Ridge Road between U.S. 40A and Ridge Crest Drive will be closed daily from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for about one week. The closure will allow the Frederick County Department of Highway Operations to replace a failing culvert pipe at 7031 Ridge Road — a signed detour will direct traffic. Frederick County
