GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Maryland Public Service Commission has released a procedural schedule for the proposed Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project, a 67 mile long electric transmission line that will run through Frederick and other counties. Public hearings are scheduled for the weeks of September 21 and 28, 2026 and updated analysis filings are due starting March 2, 2026 — the timeline addresses needed field studies and reliability issues.
