- ➤ Representative April McClain Delaney introduced the FLAME Act to require a 30-day notice for class cancellations at the National Fire Academy after FEMA canceled classes on March 7 without warning, leaving fire fighters with unreimbursed travel costs. - ➤ On Sept. 20, Western United Fish Company recalled 3,314.7 pounds of Kirkland Signature brand Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke sold at Costco after its supplier reported a Listeria positive test in green onions—customers are urged to discard the product and contact Costco for a refund—no illnesses have been reported. - ➤ The Frederick County Health Department said a man was bitten on his thigh by a small white and gray dog while running along Broadmoore Terrace North in Holly Hills at around 8:00 a.m. Saturday, and Animal Control—call 301-600-1544—is seeking any information on the dog seen with a Yorkie and a blonde woman in her mid-50s.
