  • Frederick City Council voted today to table an ordinance that would let city employees unionize—Council Member Ben MacShane expressed concerns over the proposal's clarity.  Frederick News-Post
  • Frederick City Council approved nearly $7.5 million to replace water meters and degraded bolts in city water valves today — the move will improve the city's water service.  Frederick News-Post
  • Frederick County highway crews will close a section of Slate Quarry Road between 9219 and 9229 starting Tuesday, September 30th for about three days as they replace a failing culvert pipe—detour signs will guide traffic.  WFMD
