GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Frederick city officials announced they will offer flexible payment options on parking and water/sewer bills for federal workers and contractors affected by the government shutdown — the changes will begin as soon as the new guidelines are finalized.  Frederick News-Post
  • Westside Regional Park will install its first three athletic fields after the City Council approved a slew of contracts on Thursday—these contracts also cover new courts and additional fields across the park.
