- ➤ The Northern Taurid meteor shower will peak from November 11 to November 12 when Frederick residents can expect about 5 to 10 bright, slow-moving meteors per hour. Best viewing will be in the late night to early morning hours—residents should avoid city lights for a clearer view—while the shower continues through December 10. Daily Voice
