  • Volunteers from the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary and the Bar Association of Frederick County prepared more than 600 Thanksgiving meals on Tuesday at the Salvation Army in Frederick—helping local residents celebrate the holiday.   • Nancy Allen resigned from the Frederick County Board of Education effective Dec 1, leaving a vacancy that the County Executive will fill with a nominee needing County Council approval; applications for the position must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Dec 10 to serve the remainder of her term ending Dec 2026.  WFMD
