- ➤ Maryland Ensemble Theatre will perform ‘A Christmas Carol’ at the Weinberg Center for the Arts from Dec. 12-14 (a one-weekend-only chance to enjoy Charles Dickens’ holiday classic). Frederick News-Post
- ➤ Frederick Arts Council awarded Community Arts Development grants to 21 local arts organizations and programs in Frederick County. Officials say the grants will boost local art projects+ and help grow community creative offerings. Frederick News-Post
- ➤ St. Joseph’s historic 1870s church reopened on Sunday after more than four years of renovations, welcoming worshippers to pray inside the restored building on Carrollton Manor. Baltimore Archbishop William blessed the building in a service that marked its renewed spiritual role. Frederick News-Post
