- ➤ The East Patrick Street entrance to Carroll Creek Deck is closed for construction today as crews work on area improvements, so drivers are asked to use alternate routes + plan for safe travel until the work is complete. City of Frederick
- ➤ Thurmont's Board of Commissioners approved annexing 16.7 acres Tuesday to enable the planned development of 61 new homes. The decision (a long-awaited resolution) sets the stage for the town's future growth. Frederick News-Post
