  • Rowan Digital Infrastructure has insisted on a long-term commitment in Frederick County after residents expressed concerns over reports alleging a possible sale. The company affirmed its support & will continue to invest locally.  Frederick News-Post

  • Frederick County Public Schools held a budget listening session Wednesday where community members called for higher teacher salaries and support staff wages, plus improved environmental practices to shape fiscal year 2027 priorities (FCPS).  Frederick News-Post

  • An investigation at Fort Detrick found that a hole in a hazmat suit was intentionally made (pointing to a safety lapse) and led to a work stoppage (affecting daily operations) among researchers.  Frederick News-Post
