About this event
Santa Claus is coming to Town as a part of Mount Airy’s annual A Main Street Christmas event taking place on Saturday, Dec. 5.
We will kick off the festivities at 5:30 p.m. with the Town tree-lighting ceremony in the Railyard (1 N. Main St.) led by the Mayor, Town Council, and a group of honored local students.
Our holiday parade will start at 6:30 p.m. with the route running from Mount Airy Elementary School down Main Street to Calvary United Methodist Church.
Expect festive floats and performances from nonprofits, businesses, and community groups—plus a visit from Santa himself.
Bundle up, gather family and friends, and help us usher in the season at one of Mount Airy’s favorite traditions.
