I want to send big kudos to the Frederick County Board of Elections and all the volunteers who assisted with ensuring a smooth voting process in Frederick.

“Regardless of the winning and losing candidates, I am proud of how taxpayers showed up to carry out their civic duty and responsibility. I would ask that we collectively hold the winners accountable and encourage the losers to stay engaged. Way to go Frederick County!”

The Wrap

Today's forecast high is 70, but FOX 5 DC has already put out its winter outlook. The station expects a much warmer winter with below-average snowfall overall, but a major storm is possible. Portions of Frederick County land in the 12 to 20-inch range on its map. Keep the shovel handy, just in case.
